The shining effect is due to fractint option 'decomp=256'.
The last image is not a fractal, but the result of a bogus calculation in fractint; you get a mathematically correct image when activating 'floating point', but it is less nice - artistically.

These two images have no special structure, but they become spectacular when fractint's color-cycling is activated: the different rings start to turn in different speeds and directions (rotation effect in a wheel)!
